The yr 11 basketball team was in action last week in a match against a strong team from Wickersley. Hungerhill started the game on the front foot dominating the first quarter. Wickersley stepped it up in the second quarter and out scored Hungerhill and started to apply  some real pressure.  This brought the best out of our team and they responded by raising their game and playing some excellent basketball. 

 

This is a group of young athletes who perform with dedication, determination and outstanding technical ability. They really are a credit to Hungerhill school. They ran out comfortable winners in the end by a scoreline of 40-21. It was a pleasure to watch them perform with this level of quality.  Well done to all the students who represented both schools.
