Another victory for the yr9/10 girls sends them into the quarter finals of the South Yorkshire Cup. A solid defensive performance prevented Darton from having many chances on goal, but when they did, Sophie was always there to clear any danger. Hannah Taylor and Ava Jordon worked tirelessly in midfield, slotting through a number of passes for the attackers to run on to. A hat-trick from Ava Brown, who linked up nicely with Lana Tolson, and then a further goal from Saskia Sleath gave the visitors very little hope of turning the game around.
