Our Year 8 students participated in a full day careers event on Wednesday 8^th May, the Ryman Enterprise Challenge. This challenge is supported by a long-standing partnership with Ryman and Challenge Ambassador, Theo Paphitis, an entrepreneur well known for his appearances on Dragon’s Den. Working in small teams, the students worked on a fun and engaging real life business challenge which helped them to develop key skills that are valued in the workplace and will prepare them for their working life ahead. During the day, the students teamed up to design a new mascot for the company, the winning team (pictured below) was, Leah Musson, Emily Staines, Lucy Roffe, Charlotte Hodson & Toby Cowan.
